I have owned it since 6/2006 and attended several parades and shows with it. It has not been run in the last 3 years or so, having lost interest as well as time to get it out. The vehicle was originally in service with the undercliff fire company in shaler township, alleghany county pa., and last in service at the newport fire company in perry county pa. As with any older truck, this one is no different... It wants and needs some tlc, batteries and probably a tune up. The truck was refurbished by bruco in the early to mid 1980's and after the unit was taken out of service, it was purchased by a collector in monongah wv and then by myself. The ladder was built by the grove company, the same company that builds grove cranes and other than one hydraulic line needing replaced, is very strong and was last certified in 2003. I hate to part with the truck but as stated, my interest have changed and the time to tinker with them is almost non-existent.
